About Us
Masjid at-Tajdeed is Arabic for “Mosque of Revival”. This special name was chosen because we Muslims are so badly in need of a revival that it cannot be understated, and here’s why.
Islam comes from the Quran and not the words, traditions, and cultures of any human being. The heart of our mission is to worship God alone by embracing the Quran as the sole source of Islamic guidance and strengthening the community with our events and services.
To understand our core principles, please read our three foundational articles:
Faith, Unity, and Service Through the Quran
Masjid at-Tajdeed is devoted to worshiping God alone by following the Quran.
We are NOT yet an established masjid. However, God willing, once established, Masjid at-Tajdeed will seek to cultivate a welcoming and compassionate community centered on devotion, charity, and service. Your personal and spiritual growth matters to us.
Our vision for hospitality and community care is inspired by the selfless service done at Sikh temples, or Gurdwaras: open doors, food, rest, safe and respectful space, and service to all with dignity, without regard to background or belief.
And for anyone who will walk into the masjid that needs any kind of help or counseling of any sort on any topic, including deeply personal things such as finances and relationships, or just need someone to vent or complain to, our hearts will open to listening and working with you until you find a solution, without exception or discrimination. This includes spending from our future treasury if needed. Do NOT hesitate to ask! There is no such thing as a question “too embarrassing” or “too shameful” in our vocabulary.
“There are weights that none of us can lift alone, but together, we can lift up anything. We can lift up the world.” – Arnold Schwarzenegger

When this masjid becomes established, we will make efforts to provide something like a Sikh-style langar, which is a kitchen serving free meals daily for all who walk in and ask.

To fulfill our duty and strengthen the bonds between each other, let us gather weekly to perform the Friday Salat prayers and hear a sermon.
